How to get Vendor Key required for "DataService.getTemporaryKey"?

I am using InfusionSoft API in our project. InfusionSoftDotNet Library helped a lot and saved a huge time. But now I am hanged with VendorKey parameter value required to make call to "DataService.getTemporaryKey" method. Because I am not able to trace that where to get this key from.
Could you please suggest me about how to retrieve the VendorKey?

Hey mjg,

Pleased to see your reply.
My problem still exists. It would be great if you could help me resolve this. Please provide me any working example.

I had to go look that method up as I don't recall ever using it. To the best of my knowledge, this is used for applications where instead of providing an API key to access the InfusionSoft application, the user's name and password are used. If this is the case, then I would imagine as a developer, you would need to get a VendorId from InfusionSoft directly.

I've dropped a note into InfusionSoft's developer forum for the API and should have an answer back from them soon I hope. I'll post it back here as soon as I get the details.

According to Infusionsoft:
Vendor keys are not currently available. An announcement will be sent out and posted once the application process has started. Currently this is scheduled for first quarter of 2012, but is subject to change as necessary.

Instead of getting a temporary API key using this method, you'll need to use a full API key for the application. These are generated inside the admin section of the customers Infusionsoft application. I would monitor the forums for announcements on when this feature will be available.

Sorry couldn't be of more help.
